The Anchorage Symphony features and unusual solo instrument -a bagpipe!- in this exceptional concert's opening work, An Orkney Wedding, with Sunrise. Taking center stage is guest pianist Chu-Fang Huang, who the Washington Post calls "strong, assertive...and bursting with energy and intensity." Hear why when she performs Ravel's jazz-infused Concerto for Piano in G major. Schubert's most eloquent work, his Great C Major, ends the evening with an exceptional rhythmic energy.
