Astronomy Program: Starship Enterprise

There’s an effort underway—funded by NASA and the Department of Defense—to achieve interstellar transport by the year 2100. Very recently scientists discovered an Earth-sized planet orbiting Alpha Centauri B, located in our nearest star system. Might we be headed to Alpha Centauri by 2100?
