Celestial Navigation

Astronomy Series. Presentation by UAA Physics professor Dr. Katherine Rawlins. Every 1st & 3rd Friday evening of the month, astronomer will present a special topic (approx. 1-1.5 hrs) & answer questions. If skies are clear, we will go outside & view the night sky using your own binoculars or telescope, or share ones set up by astronomers. Children can earn their Junior Astronomer Certificate after attending 6 programs & completing “Star Notes” –ask at the front desk. Free program.
