Bald Eagles: Fact and Fiction
Jr. Naturalist Program (grades K-6th)
The bald eagle, our national bird and our town and river’s namesake, is the only eagle unique to North America. Come learn about this magnificent bird and how it got its unusual name. If the temperature is above 10 F, we’ll take a short hike on the Rodak Trail to see the Eagle River Valley and learn why it’s great habitat for bald eagles. Free program; $5 parking for non-members.
