Spenard Builders Supply (SBS) Bon Appetit Gourmet Chef Demo with Chef Reuben Gerber of Crow's Nest

This demo is all about risotto! Chef Reuben Gerber will show how to make risotto from three different grains -- Arborio Rice, Farro (an ancient grain) and orzo, a pasta. Gerber has worked at 5-star restaurants in California and honed his techniques with a classical culinary education in CA, France and Italy. He moved to Alaska to work at Jack Sprat and recently joined the Captain Cook Hotel with goals of creating unforgettable dining experiences for guests and to mentor the culinary team. Free!
