Bill Streever, author of 'Cold', is back to warm us up.  In his new book 'Heat',  Bill shares tales of fever, the first fires on earth, first use of fire by humans, the burning of peat, coal and oil, volcanoes, thermonuclear weapons, and the surprising temperatures that prevailed in the first moments after the big bang. Bill will stay to autograph copies of his book (a limited number of copies will be available). Free program; $5 parking for non-members.
