Experience time-honored, timely tales told through live music and dance as Boston Musica Viva and special guests the Northeast Youth Ballet and Steve Aveson of NECN celebrate 20 years of creating new music for families. In Samuel Headrick’s new ballet “The New Kid,” a student responds bravely to bullies at her new school. The team brings back “Ma Goose,” a playful reimagining of Mother Goose rhymes by Bernard Hoffer, composer for the cartoon series ThunderCats.
