Pandemonium Booksellers & Cafe

I am a home school parent and I love the book store. The section for children is great! Lots of curriculum and the owner is a home school mother of several children and has great advise. They plan lots of activities for kids every week.

Local music, cafe, view, food, and seriously the best coffee in town.... I love this store and am happy to have a LOCALLY OWNED/OPERATED PROFESSIONAL book store.

I find them a bit annoying-- I place a lot of orders and when they call and find out if it's me they ask how I am. Why do they do that? Who cares? Just say, "Hi Rain! This is Bipsy with Pandemonium and your books are in!" This "How are you?" is unprofessional. (This goes for Taco Bell, too. I hate being asked that in their drive ups.)

You go to Pandemonium not for the selection of books (it's sparse in comparison to Barns and Nobel) but for the view and food. Pastries are made by Gary at North Star Bakery and they have an amazing selection of teas. (I like their triple berry pie the best with a breve.) They have a nice selection of music playing and the musicians who come in are local and nice to listen to.
